The story of the ETS competence model for youth workers apparently began at a kitchen table and it involved Rita Bergstein and Gisèle Evrard Marković and at a later stage, Arturas Deltuva. This was just the start and later on more people were involved in the consultations around it, leading to what it is today. Still, to have a more comprehensive understanding of the model, we interviewed Rita and Gisèle to discover motivations, intentions and hopes surrounding it. Some of their answers are very helpful also in understanding possible ways of using and applying the model.
